Chapter 10 -Pressing On!

Rachel was excited because she was flying to San Francisco to visit Leah during Spring Break. In fact, she was ecstatic. She would hold Little Jason and meet Leah’s hubby, Lincoln. She had not been able to attend their small wedding, but her father Tyre had flown out to be there when they said their vows.

They were sisters. They had the same father but different mothers. Leah assured her that she would understand it better by and by. She was beginning to understand some of it but there were a lot of missing pieces. However, Leah had been in her life since birth. Though they lived miles apart, they had reunions over the years. They got along and respected each other. Ultimately, with no other siblings, none of the details really mattered to Rachel. Leah had been a lifeline for her. She was the consummate big sister always protecting, directing, and redirecting and calling things as she saw them.
