The Drive- Chapter 26

She got out and said, "Hi.  I'm Cheryl and I will be your driver for the evening." She grabbed ahold of the rolling luggage and headed towards the back of the car when Steve said, "Here. Let me help you with that, Cheryl. Chivalry isn't dead.," he chuckled. Septima smiled a smile of approval.

She then held the passenger door open for them as they got in the stretch limousine. As they headed towards the open door, Septima looked at this woman from head to toe. She was wearing the uniform black and white, but with a few perks. She had on black wool slacks; a white sweater and a white cashmere jacket.  It was topped with a thick white scarf which she had tied like the French.

And then it happened. Septima's eyes went down to the shoes. The driver had on some rainbow colored podeswa high heels with an ankle strap. Septima was trying to be professional, but she had to say, "Love those shoes, Ms. Cheryl.

Cheryl just smiled a little devilish smile and said, "Thanks!"  It was as if she was saying I might in a man's world as a limo driver, but I can still doll it up a little.
