The Meeting - Chapter 18

During the next break, Phoenix said, “Willow, sometimes I have dreams about Phinny. It is as if he is trying to tell me something. If I try to converse, they come out in the form of nightmares. I feel for my new hubby. I thought you could share some insight.Brothers don’t tell their sisters everything or anything for that matter. Not after a certain age.”
Willow shifted in her chair and her discomfort was apparent. She breathed. “I think I can help you with that. Hopefully this will help bury some of those dragons forever,” said Willow. She went into her purse and pulled out a letter in a sealed envelope.
“Read this when you are alone. Call me or text me if you think I can shed more light. I have shared this with my new beau. He has been there and done that and thought that this was a good idea,” Willow added.
“Okay,” said Phoenix as she took the letter and put it deep into her purse.      “Hopefully this will bury the hatchet, and we can all move forth,” said Willow.
“Yeah,” said Phoenix. The music resumed and the tempo had picked up. Someone came and lightly tapped Phoenix on the shoulder.
“Looks like this good looker wants a dance, Phoenix,” giggled Willow. Phoenix pulled a face and turned around. There stood Tyre smiling and flashing that one dimple. Phoenix revealed a huge smile and said, “Willow, this is my gorgeous husband.”
