Chapter 25- Consummation

Tyre and Phoenix rested just as musical compositions take rests. After fighting a raging war, they were two people tugging against dark forces in an effort to retrieve the other halves of their souls. They sat in the silence and listened to the waves hit against the rocks. After a long silence, they turned to each other, searched out each other’s eyes, the windows to the soul, and said warmly and in unison, “Hi.”

They invited each other in. They both understood what had just occurred. Their hearts twinkled silently because they knew that their faith had brought them through the storms and brought about answered prayers. They had found the ultimate gift—love.

"Love is pink, soft, and true,
And erases any feeling of blue.
Love is round and spongy too,
’Cause it bounces back on you.
Love is colorful and bright
And fills the soul with delight!"

Phoenix was inspired to write this when she returned home. She felt round, spongy, and bright. She had rediscovered her muse, and she was delighted as she marked her calendar for a new rendezvous with the professor
