Sights and Sounds of Nassau

One morning, I looked out of my window, and I saw a huge tail like object. I had to know what it was. I put on my things and walked down the strip pass the shops and the Straw Market and on towards the dock called Port George. The huge tail, which I had seen from my hotel window, was the end of a cruise ship. I got as close as possible and saw passengers descending the ship. One little girl was vomiting from the sea ride. Some people were rollerblading along the side of the dock, and some were standing around talking. I had never been this close to a cruise ship, and it was exciting. I saw the lifeboats hanging from the side of the ship. I thought of the Titanic. It was a memorable sight.

After heading back towards the town, I went into the library which is in the heart of the town. It had an octagon- shape and had many pirate tales and stories in its history. I also returned to the Straw Market and visited other shops along the dock. I bought tee shirt dresses for all the women in my family and enjoyed each and every step of the way.
