Elisha gave the letter to Tyre and sat quietly as his son read:

"For my son, Tyre (no longer called Trey)

Tyre- his God-given name-named for the island of traders of purple dyes who became prosperous. I pray that he meets a wholesome woman who is secure in herself and has achieved her own rite of passage. I pray that she has no hidden agenda and is a woman who has found inner joy whether she is with or without a mate.

I pray she is someone who understands life and knows its imperfections. I pray she is a woman who sees Tyre for his soul and not as a dazzling diamond to be possessed. I pray she sees him as a man in need of a good anchor during the storms of life and one who is filled with joy and love of her God."
